If I know him or her well then it's probably not so awkward. If it is someone unknown then yeah, it might be a bit weird. I am yet to be in a situation like that though but eventually I am sure my brother and sister will like someone and it might not even be someone I already am friends with.

it happened to me once.. i must say its one strange feeling... what i was going through was like.. i dont know.. i couldnt really speak to my brother about it and nor could i speak to parents... it was just totally strange to find my bro with a girl at a place where my friend and i was just passing by... I said Hey , what're you doing here?.. what did u tell mom where u were going?.. and he was totally speechless... haha... well... it took me like so many days to get over it.. and i couldnt really talk to my bro for so many days.. he said she's not his gf but i dont believe him, since i've some friends keepin an eye on him... i warned him that if i see him with her again... my last option would be to tell parents and they'll take care of the rest... and at the same time i got her email address from someone and said that im his brother and if i ever see u with him..ill tell ur parents.. cuz i know who u are and where u live etc.. after that i havent heard from any of my friend that they met after that ..

seriously..i get so jealous cuz a friend of mine has 3 sisters..and every other day hes like.... my this sister made a new friend and she came to our house today..and shes soo....uhm.. this and that lol... hope u get it..

it was kind of awkward talking to my now-brother inlaw online for the first time especially because both of us didn’t even know who we were talking to! what had happened was some girl had messaged me on aim saying something about how she liked this guy and wanted me to talk to him. so i said ummm ok, i imed him and after a few mins when he told me his name, i was like umm are you in miami? he goes yeah, i am like, is this and this your last name and blah blah. he then goes, are you the girl my brother likes? he said he had seen him talk to my screen name many times and he wasn’t sure who i was. it was soooooo bizarre especially for him because he’s so much younger than us (about 4 years). but after a few mins, when i told him that yeah your brother and i have been together for this many years and all, he was shocked cuz he’s like, “no wonder my brother doesn’t even talk or look at any girl here in miami.. a lil relieved i must say!” LOL.. i was like no don’t worry, he’s not gay, he’s just committed :Danyway, so then we got talking and we got along so great! we played chess and pool online often and then on my next visit, i got to meet him. my fiance and i took him out for icecream with us and even though we thought it was going to be a lil weird, it was so much fun. later on, he was a big help when my fiance opened up to his parents about me and his brother supported him big time saying he knew me too, etc etc. so it ended up working out great for us. he’s such a great help especially when my fiance and i fight cuz then he supports me and blasts his brother for being mean to me. i remember the first time i went to miami and i had to meet his mom (for the veryyyy first time) for lunch. the BIL kept insisting he wanted to come along too because it was all so exciting for him lol.
i am still in the process of getting to know the younger one who’s 13. he’s SOO cute and very blunt lol.. we were all having dinner one time and he said out loud to my fiance, “bhaijaan, how much do you love shay?” everyone just turned and looked at him like !!! he’s still trying to memorize the word ‘bhabi jaan’

My brothers gf and me go to the same college so its really not weird at all...like sgc said its better to get to know the girl if they are really serious about each ohter..which they are..i guess in todays day and age its not strange

you know what i wonder about.. when my mom picks out the girl for my brother, it's going to be so weird. she has already told my brother she's going to pick his wife and he's okay with it. we just don't know WHO she wants and that's the scary part lol. she recently showed us some pics of this distant cousin who's really pretty and a decent girl according to my mom but i think it's important for everyone to get along too. i introduced my fiance to both my siblings years ago and now they are best friends. anything they need, they call him up. and i would want to do the same with my brother's wife, treat her like another sibling. that's why i hope the girl my mom picks is atleast friendly and willing to get along with us.
