What's In?

Re: What's In?

hahaha....i made mine longer and a bit skinnier, like the first pic but longer, to my ankles. I don't like it when they ride up when you sit down.

If I make them skinner (by which I think you mean tighter) then why not make them into a chooridaar?

Are chooridaars really not in?

Re: What's In?

you can make chooridar ...they're in as well. when i went i just wanted to get a bunch of trousers made instead of shalwar because most of what i had before was shalwar. spiced it up with some variety!lol

Re: What's In?

But angelwings up there is telling me chooridaar wont look good with my shoes.

Re: What's In?

^no chooridaars are always in..but it won't look good with the shoes you have posted.

Re: What’s In?

Aw man!

Right, im gona try my footless tights (closest thing I have to a chooridaar) with my shoes. I bet it looks hot! :snooty:

Im sorry, but I really cant wear budgies!!!

Re: What's In?

oh sorry ..didn't see the part where you asked about the shoes. heels definitely go with chooridar, i'm not sure about closed toed shoes though. the other ladies here can probably help you more with that (i always need help with those kinds of things too)

AW is right. a churidaar won't look good with your shoes. sorry! a shalwar would look slightly better if you don't want straight trousers.

Re: What's In?

pick a contrasting colour or white with touches of same color in shirt n duppatta but plain pants if u wanna pop up the shoes. With same color suit i guess the shoes will b lost.if i were u i'll choose any nice outfit i like n just change the shoe.

Re: What's In?

Milly - you can def tone down the embroidary (is that how you spell it) I would keep it on the collar and the chawk

I against the churi daar - it will kill the shoes.

girl you have to show the back strap of the shoe so I think straight pants and capri are your only options

BTW - why anti capri?

Re: What's In?

Ok, what about a chooridaar without the ruffles at the bottom, so its like straight. That way you can still see the buckle?

Does it show that I havnt worn asian outfits in a very long time!

Re: What's In?

youre shoes will ook hawt with capris and a short /long shirt...depending on ur preference

Re: What's In?

I know whats not in. the thing milly is wearing. yeyyyy

Re: What’s In?

Pants and capris are in. Shalwars are a no no at parties if you really want to be in. Even I don’t wear capris with eastern wear and wear trousers insead. Chorridars are mostly Indian but are not completley out for Pakistanis. I wouldn’t advise choridars with those shoes as they have a western look and pants/ trousres would look good. Just think of a longer capri pant.

I really like the style of this kameez, but its too long for me, will not suit me at all. And if I make the kameez lengh shorter the trousers will just just feel to weird.

Im such a fussy cow. I guess I should really just go shopping or perhaps buy some new shoes! YEA new shoes! Problem sorted!
