My inlaws are all originally from Lucknow and all the girls wore a red gharara on their shadies, the kaam was all different but the tradition of a dulhan in red was maintained.
The wedding i attended last week was an interesting one the family is agha khani, the girl wore a sari for her religious ceremony in a white with gold and a lush royal blue lehnga with a corset style strapless blouse with magenta, fuscia and deep green work on it. The dress was beautiful she got it from Neelofer Shahid- im just not big on dating your self with a fad or wearing stuff that is 'FUSION' on ones own wedding.
