What's in Pak Army's *Meals Ready to Eat* packs?

Meals Ready to Eat = Meal in a sealed box. You do something to it, and it heats up by itself, making a ready to eat hot meal for a soldier out and about.

So what is in Pak Army’s Meals Ready to Eat pack? Subzi Pulao? Biryani? Aloo Gosht?

American ones usually include Rice, mashed potatoes, omelette, fajitas, etc.

Just curious.

edit: I maybe slightly wrong about the heating themselves part. Only some can do that. Other have to be heated.

Err.......i have no clue about pakistani's MREs. But i know one thing for sure: the american MRes dont contain mashed potatoes or fajitas as far as i remember. They usually have rice and beans, burritos (yucky), tortillinis (vegetarian), and some other chix or beef entrees. Other than that there is cakes, fruit cocktails, apple sauce i think, candies (m and ms, skittles, jolly ranchers etc), koolaid packets, crackers with cheese or PB&J etc etc.

The way they are heated: there is a special heating packet. Dunno what it is called but you put ur food pouch in the heating packet, put some water and the water starts heating up and hence heats ur food in turn.

Oh ok. Well I was just reading that website in my first post, and thought that is what is in all MREs.
