Well I have decided I really need to loose weight. My knees are hurting and I think its due to the extra weight I am carring. I would be really happy with 15 kg less.
So I have started this diet, I am taking a shake from cape june at night instead of dinner and drink green tea (decaf) 2 times during day.
I have noticed that my cloths are a bit loose on me but the scale is standing where it is? Even some aunties commented that I have lost weight where as I have not.
Is this diet working or not, should I go on with it. Not to mention I am nursing my 10 months old baby, thats why cannot carry away with this, eat normal during day, not fatty stuff but healthy and good food, only at dinner time I have this shake instead. This keeps me full, so dont need any thing else. Why is it not showing in the scale ?
are you working out as well? if you are maybe you are building muscle which can retain water for a bit. muscles weighs more than fat anyways. if you arent working out, then i am not sure.
How long have you been doing this? Inches don't always equal weight loss but the fact that you feel the results is awesome and its an indicator that you should continue.
For you to see the scale actually budge...you'd have to try doing this for at least 3 weeks. Thats the minimum.

How much, how many times and what did you eat ? Give the list and quantity/amount from today or yesterday.
It is known as NSV (Non scale victory) and is common. Nothing to worry about. As you start your diet/exercise, your body starts to tone up so while you may not lose weight, you will lose inches
@ Reha, been doing it for 2 weeks now. Havent had a real dinner but I am not really missing it, as I eat the real food for lunch and breakfast. Today I tried on a kameez, that was tight on me, wrong measurments, it would not go down my chest and today it fit .. only the upper arms part was tight. This motivates but would really like to see results on scale but 3 months u might be right, it might take time, i should continue.
@ Mirch, I have breakfast, last few days I was have paratha, bad I know, so today I switched to whole corn bread with low fat butter and jam, I will stick with this now iA.
for lunch, I have proper lunch, no cut downs here, someday its a home made pizza with veggies, somedays pasta, or normal roti salan. In between I eat a protein bar, thats low calories and suger, or apple, 1-2 biscuts with tea or will start yoghurd too. I have cut on sweets, no chocolates or other sweety things.
Dinner I am taking this shake 250 calories and keeps me fill, sometimes I have some salad or a bit of just dry baked chicken.
