Bombay, Calcutta and Madras were names given to the cities by the British. The "new" names - Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai - are actually the original names of these cities.

Trivandrum is now Tiruvarananthapuram

Baroda is Vadodara

Poona is Pune

Panjim is Panaji

Gauhati is Guwahati

Bombay is Mumbai

I think there already is a Mollywood in kerala for Malayalam films.

There is Tollywood for Telugu films

must be sime **wood for Tamil and Marathi films too.
