What's happening in turkey?

Re: What’s happening in turkey?

That’s true, he probably gets painted in a certain light because he’s a conservative Muslim, but he has also infringed on rights which, while valid in a theocracy from a religious perspective, is troublesome in a secular country. I don’t know how conservative the Turkish people are, but I imagine that a lot of them are very different from the average Pakistani. They are a secular country. This has nothing to do with whether Erdogan received votes or is popular. He could very well be going back on campaign promises. I doubt he ran with the idea that he will start to change Turkey’s secular government, but he’s trying to do exactly that.
