I agree HotTea’s way of getting hooked up is kinda bizarre. But he must be thinking that his cousin might get him introduced to some desi girl which he thought was difficult to find in the US. What I figured out is that he is shocked to see girls in Pak (or particularly Islamabad) having similar modern and liberal dressing styles as he has seen girls to be having in the US (or UK or where ever he lives).
The thing is if HotTea is looking for ‘shareef’ and saaf shafaf girls to marriage purpose, his way of finding such a girl was not correct. He should have asked his mom to look for any next door shareef girl in her circle. Their are plenty of ‘shareef’ girls in Pakistan but then there would still be no guarantee what they had been doing in their past and how they conduct themselves away from their families. But if dressing is the only criteria for judging girls sharafat, HotTea should ask his mom to look for a saaf suthri mashriqi larki for him.
Yes, Pakistan has become much more liberal and girls there are very modern. When marrying, you cannot pass a judgement that a girl living in Pak is more shareef than a girl bred outside Pak. It all depends on the tarbiat and we cannot just stereotype girls.
