I mean… I went to Multan for AULIA-e-Karam ke Mazaraat pe Dua ke liye… 
MULTAN is also good for Traditional Embroidry stuff and U will find lots there…
And.. Also U can Listen to Junai Jamshed Song…

If you are planning your trip in summer, then it is better to rent out a car and move to some hill-side like Muree.
Otherwise Ghanta Ghar and associated Markets (called Gates in multan) are fun to visit. Parks are there for kids, Company Park may be your spot for the evening if you are moving with kids.
Multan-->Bahawalpur (2 hours journey) and visit Lal Suhanra Lake and bahawalpur's famous Zoo. It is a fun to plan a trip to Bahawalpur for some Mahi-Geeri.
Multan-->Panjnand if you are interested in river-side and boat rides.
