Re: What's for breakfast?

cereal! come on now :p

btw, can you find cereal there? you know, like the types you would find here?
rice krispies, fruit loops, frosted flakes ..

can't imagine what i'd do without my cereal

Re: What's for breakfast?

My two favorites these days:

-oatmeal with granola and some brown sugar sprinkled on top

-parfait - assemble chopped fruit at bottom (i like strawberries + bananas), top it with vanilla yogurt, and finished with granola on top. You can add whip cream too, but i'd rather not if your trying to stay on healthy side.

Both these things are yummy and very filling.

Re: What's for breakfast?

^yummy, yummy, yummy!!! do you make the parfait yourself? do share the recipe!

Re: What’s for breakfast?

I feel like eating breakfast now with all these yummy ideas flying around

did you really mean “soldiers”…?:konfused:

Re: What's for breakfast?

my normal routine is eating....plain oatmeal with some honey
with a cup of green tea...especially during the winter months.

sometimes I'll even have eggs inside of a toasted bagel.

Re: What's for breakfast?

yep. oatmeal. best winter breakfast. with milk, raisins, bananas (or any other fruit), wheatgerm and granola). it'll keep you full for long and it gives a great boost of energy.

or just make it with some milk, salt and skip the sweet additives if u dislike sweet in the morning.

Re: What's for breakfast?

What is granola? I live in the UK so where could i find it? What does it taste off? And what about vanilla yogurt? Where can i find that? I really like Sehar's parfeit and wanna try that...thanks sehar.

Re: What's for breakfast?

granola is made of rolled oats and nuts. it is sold in bars and in granule form. it can have different additives such as wheatgerm, honey, fruit and raisins. its a high energy, high fiber food.

Re: What's for breakfast?

so can you use museli instead?

Re: What's for breakfast?

For a change sometime I take ready-made paratha and bake it with beaten egg (with red chili powder, salt and oregano) on top of it and it taste yum yum with Chai

Re: What's for breakfast?

I normally have cereal for breakfast or porridge on the weekends and have egg with toast on sat and so does hubby! Then on sun either pancakes or paratha unda!!
