She is. But you know Sara, if I dare tell her that she is lucky that I love her this much, she would simply react like she cant believe it!

my husband thinks i am an ideal wife

^ How long you are married? Do you believe he means it?

^ who cares if doesnt mean it or not :snooty:

Having admitted that you would be the same way, may I ask why?

I think that in every relationship, there will always be one person who is more dedicated ot their partner than the other, and htat person will be me. I have a feeling that I will be the one who is more dedicated, more thankful, more appreciative and loving than he would be. Not to say that he can treat me like crap and I'll tolerate it, because I won't.

I know this because I repeat this pattern in other areas of my life....with my friends I am the one who gives and gives and although I don't get the same amount back, I don't resent them for it because they just give back in different ways....

We need a group discussion with your friends to believe what you say about yourself. He could be the same as you are so why is that only you will excel and prevail and win in good good situation?
That precisely is the problem to begin with.

I never meant that I would be the only one to win and prevail and excel. If he is the same way then I will consider myself the luckiest person ever

Reminds me of several arguments exploring this menacing 'if'
I need to go and sleep. My 26 didnt turn up tonight online. Missing her so very much.

"What" is meaningless infornt of "but." Its a variant to 'if' and makes it deadlier while "what" fizzles out what is contained in both. :D
PS: Can you see how much important it is for men like me to have a partner in the later part of the night to discuss philosophy than to have her crave for meethe meethe lafz :p

Here you are. We want the same and with harmony, equilibarium and balance. If its disturbed like when I have to talk about politics and you have craving to go out for ice cream and none of us compromises* we are at loggerheads.

*compromise means who wanted what first, should have the priority (emergency situation excluded)
