u can get alchohol free wine too u know well at least u can in uk

Apparently apple juice is the best substitute, i read it in the guardian newspaper in the food section, written by a chef.

I always just increase the amount of water/stock, if I need a bit of 'tang' I add lemon or vingar

in a lot of recipe books/and cooking shows they said to substitute chicken broth for white wine and beef broth for red wines (can use the boullion or homemade); also, for shrimp and fish one should use clam juice (readily available at the grocery stores).
