^ I'm speaking out of experience. The college where I used to work, everyone was provided with an IBM laptop and I had the opportunity to use various models of 'R' series and the 'T' series ... and I was very happy with the results. However, I've seen many people whine about their SONY laptops and they've had a histroy of problems relting to power etc.
And then again, IBM is/was (can be argued) a reputed player in the 'systems' industry whereas SONY got into manufacturing laptops only a few years ago.
What's your reason to condem IBM laptops?
