Whatmore looks like a desi too. Honestly, dress him up in a kurta pajama or a shalwar qameez and doesn't he look like Mehmood Butt saahab who would feast on siri paaye and qulcha naan every morning for breakfast?

I believe he still lives in Sri Lanka......and I seem to remember reading somewhere that he also has Sri Lanka in his lineage....but I could be wrong.

Instead of looking for a phorun coach, India should invest heavily into discovering cricketers with killer instincts. How about a fast bowler and a genuine leg break spinner? If India aims to climb to the top spot in world cricket, then it needs to produce legendary cricketers.
