From what I have seen of India...bearing in mind this is based on 2 visits..(one of 2 months and one of 2 weeks).....India is a lovely country...but there is some real need to move on....like progress.....
It's basically based on the fact that in some instances they want to copy the western world but in some other instances they are just so backward.....

Welcome to GS by the way.....I am also of "Indian origin" although born and lived in the UK all my life (hence the 2 visits to India - because I am married to an Indian)

i love the way india has developed.....the culture is good too....but sometimes....it seems tht the indians have sold out 2 the west!....

You know I was talking to my Indian pal once and he asked me what Pakis generally think about Indians, and I told him a famous stereotype is that they are dirty/stink. And then he said the funny thing is…they think the same thing about Pakistanis. :smiley:

In reality, I bet we both stink. It’s just a South Asian thing. :phati:
