Ok something I just loved a little while ago.
My daughter says “I don’t like the sandwich”.
I say “I don’t care”. Poor thing left without saying another word.
A few minutes later I saw more than half of it sitting in her plate, I told her eat it quickly or you’ll have to suffer the consequences. She goes what does consequences mean? Please use words that I understand.
Ps: Sorry this wasn’t exactly related to the topic but I just had to share it.

I like the hugs n' kisses !!!!!
Kids just don't need a special occasion to give you a hug.
(However, things change after certain age. You hug only if you are going out on a trip without kids/mom, or if it's Eid. =( lol)

Heba is going through a phase where she knows when she has done something silly and if i look at her and mimick her.. she'll know im teasing her and will give me a huuuuuuge smile.. and i love that. Its like she totally knows what im doing and is having fun too..
then she'll say... "heba's funny... ha ha ha.. " LOL

the first thing my son does when he wakes up.. actually his eyes wont even be open yet.. but he gives me a great big toothless smile and giggles. just cuz he heard my voice. its also the last thing he does before he falls asleep at night.. actually everytime i put him to sleep.. a huge huge smile..
when he is being held by someone else and sees me walk by.. he literally jumps out of that persons embrace and hopes i catch him :D

I love the random hugs/kisses I get. And now sometimes he'll even say mama "hug" & "kiss". I think it has to do with him listening to eh Barney song..with a hug & kiss from me to you....hehe
Also just his antics. Sometimes he'll do something completely silly or sooo slick....in my mind I find it adorabley funny, but to him I try to be stern & discipling him between right & wrong. But I do catch my hubby giving me the look like "how on earth did he do that or know that"....hehe. Also it is silly but he prefers mommy over daddy to read a storytime book with and his sound effects he makes, esp Dr. Seuss books. Children just get unconditional love Mashallah se.

afro it IS funny how kids have a preferance of parent for certain things... aariz doesnt mine doing everything under teh sun with my husband.. but bedtime feed is strictly reserved for mommy... he will cry and continue crying until i dont take him.. hsuband is routinely heartbroken.. but oh well :D

Mine is still so little but already i see her favouring me over anyone else, even my husband. When i am walking by, and my brother is holding her, her face just totally lights up into this huuuuge smile. Or smetimes when she is cranky, she only wants me and not even her dad who she also adores. She also jumps to come to my lap when somene else is holding her and i am right there, standing farigh :D

these days hebz is going through a mama phase.. she wants mama to do evreythign for her.. she circles me non-stop... its sweet but VERY tiring..
the other thing... she wants daddy to do "rock a by baby" to mama.. which means she wants him to pick me up and rock me and sing!!! nobody laugh... but we have to strictly go into our room to do this when the chachoo is around.. but she demands he carry me out of the room... sigh
lastnight it was "guddi guddi" (gud guddi) but pronounced goodie goodie... and she runs around chasing either daddy or mama tickling them. Man, little fingers can do major ticklish damage...
