I think charles should have married Camilla parker instead of Diana. Coz he was madly in love with Camilla and Diana was used as a sacrificial Lamb between two.
We sometime wonder and debate parent arranged marriages and love marriages , but it happened in the Royal family too.
May be I am wrong but I feel bad for Diana who is forgotten as if never existed. I was watching the Civil ceremony on TV and wondering whats going on in UK.

I couldn't care less about the marriage. There was only ever was one decent person in the royal family and she is no longer with us.

Its shows as a dark stain on modern day society and life. I didn't even know they were getting married. Allah help us if our world gets a thrill out of such stupidity.

it sounds so desi, his parents forced him to marry a girl he didnt like, but was in love w/ another girl,his parents wouldnt let him marry/

I can't believe they made such a huge affair out of the wedding. She was 'the other woman', literally. How can people celebrate when she's one of the main reasons Charles and Diana never had a successful marriage?
However, I want to wear that thing she had on her head during the ceremony. I also want the one her daughter was wearing. I'm surprised I actually liked it.

I noticed many news commentators bringing up the Diana and the old scandals. There was a brit commentator I recall saying, "Charles didn't use Diana" etc.....which of course got mom going on about the woman being a representative of the rottwieler.....
In my thinking a bit opportunistic-ish that broadcasters resort to commentary on past scandals involving Charles and Diana , the divorce and Diana's tragic death.
After all....the day belonged to Camilla.
I do think Charles and Camilla appeared very happy together.

Me devil's advocate here: The woman waited thirty years to be wit her man...that's true love.... Yeah there was an innocen tperson hurt too, but Diana was not the only victim. All three o these people, their situation is very sad. There is no one single victim. It's not easy to do the right thing, especially when there's love involved...

Why should it matter? Diana's been dead for nearly a decade now. If he's finally married her, good for them. It wasn't like Diana was coerced to stay in the marriage anyway. She could have left when she found out about the other woman.

She did try to leave even before she married Charles. She found out about Camilla before their wedding. She was pressured not to leave though cause the whole world was watching. sigh Oh well. She’s gone and the world seems to have moved on.

If she was made into a Saint, the wedding today wouldn't have been celebrated to this extent. To each their own, if their children accept it, there's no point in anybody else complaining.

ok so maybe he didnt ruin her life, but he was still forced into marrying her and believe it or not he was also forced into marrying Camilla, only difference is that he wanted to marry Camilla.
I hope they have a happy life together..at least this way they'r not living in sin as my daddi would say :D

sounds like a Pak/Indian movie w/out the songs except the arranged girl was a WHOLE lot prettier than the girl he fell in love with.
