Difference between buying u're kids the world and spoiling them and letting them dress in high heels and makeup! It's alright to spend as much as u want on u're kids.. but allowing them to wear whatever they want sigh
Sari's, high heels and makeup, nailpolish on young girls doesn't look nice, no one's stopping anyone from spoiling the child..
This is what Pingu has problem with , I do too. I buy matching stuff for my daughter, I buy the clothes, shoes , purses etc as per her liking. But high heels , makeup , heavy jewerly , uncontrolled piercing at this tender age is little too much I would not allow that.
Thats what I do with my kids too I let them wear matchings but not jewelery,make-up,high heels.I usually buy them pink things or Barbie things.
If the parents want to give their kids everything in the world - it's their choice (Maybe the parents themselves had to struggle when when were growing up and did not get everything - and now they want to shower it on their kids! )
Besides - I totally HATE it when people say - oh instead of getting this for the kids - they should have put the money in for the less fortunate.
Get over it people.
The less fortunate in this world will never end. All you can do is give the less fortunate money but that does not mean that you must sacrifice YOUR own luxury EVERYTIME.
I hate the word donation now. It's too out done in the Muslim world.
Listen sweet heart we are not disscussing donation here we are disscussing how parents should spend on their children in a way that it won't spoil them. For example I'll buy my child matchings but not make-up instead I'll go to gymboree and buy some cute matching pair of shoes, dress, hair clips. If you have you can spend on your only child its their right but in a way that it doesn't make them look mature before age.:) I hope you get my point.
