You will just have to forgive me...I am white british and desis do things a lot differently ...thats why I found it weird him asking for pics of me...family...home etc..even if it is for rischta purposes....his family will probably be against it anyway....(thats just based on what I have read..about families disowning their children if they marry outside their race)....although I do not know how true this is...as he has said he can marry a christian women and his family are very liberal!

Yes we desis can be a strange bunch when looking in from the outside; but in this case I'm hoping your friend is doing right by you. :D
This is rarely the case. There are many Pakistanis who have married white women and even bring them to Pakistan. And in most of cases, its religion that is the real issue rather than race.
Can you convert to Islam for him?

It seems on the internet you always here the bad experiences and NEVER the good...as they are far too busy enjoying their lives together....Of course I would convert....over the months I have realised christianity and islam is very similar...and I am the one telling him whats haram and whats not lol...islam is a lovely religion and I strongly beleive children should always follow their fathers religion...thats just the way it is....so yes I would convert...not just for him but because I think it is a lovely religion
