So we have now that taking any kind of action (which can vary from reporting to authorities to talking to the person, convincing him to stop, asking other family members’ help) depends on:

• severity of the crime
• if it is continuous or not
• motives behind it
• if others are being harmed/hurt/ life on a threat
• relationship with the person

About the severe cases (rape, murder etc):**
To the people who said that they wouldnt do anything, what exactly do you mean with that?

You are not going to do anything about it at all? taking action doesnt per se mean going to police.
Or you will confront the person and then do nothing?

And if you decide to stay silent in severe cases (rape). Won’t that affect your own mental state?

And how would they feel if the same thing happened to THEIR children or family members and ppl who knew kept quiet?

Are you not also enabling other people to be harmed if you choose to say nothing??
