I have this close family relative (almost like my aunt ) who was thinking about giving a religious ceremony for her daughter. Her daughter and I are so close as well, everytime i visit she talks to me and wants me to come over and all she is 6 years old.
So my aunt had mentioned twice on my previous visits to her house that she is throwing a party for the daughter and I have to come, and i always said yeah i would love to, just let me know when it is.
Few weeks ago i visited them again, and she asked me that she is throwing the party in few weeks and I have to come, i was like yeah why not!
Now few days ago i called her, since i hadnt talk to her for couple of days and she seemed very busy and said ohh tomorrow is my daughter’s party and i am just busy in its arrangments and since you already visited us few days ago, I didnt want you to drive all the way again… (i live 2 hours away, and everyone knows driving is not a problem for me). and I got no invitation…
How would you feel and what would your reaction be if someone did that to you?
I was mad cuz if you dont wanna invite me dont but just dont make me think and be all mentally ready and then just ignore at the last minute with a stupid excuse…
