Lol its ok if they dont try it with you...one of my flatmates was gay...but it becomes quite awkward when they try it with you...
I was at a bar one time and this guy told me i had lovely eyes...i was taken by surprise and just smiled and said thanks...the next thing he did had me cringing though...he licked his lips and looked me down from head to toe and said your the fittest guy iv seen tonight...
When he was looking at me from head to toe...you kind of subconsciously try and think what they are thinking and the visual image was an uncomfortable one...confounded with him licking his lips did not help...
Just said thanks and went over to my friends...I was not happy...
But another time i was with a girl which helped...we were at a gay bar cos her cousin was gay and was having his birthday...The guys were really nice to me and the girl...they made nice comments but knew their limits so i was comfortable enough...as long as they arent being forward then i dont mind them at all...they can be quite nice guys...

BUT what if they just try to talk to you w/o any ulterior motives? Wouldn't it be kinda rude to automaticlaly say "no im not gay, go away"?

I have nothing against gays, but if I know that somebody is gay it will be hard for me to accept him as a friend, I become friend only with like minded people.

As long as they're not openly attracted to you, I think it's ok to talk to them, just as you would a normal friend/acquaintance. Now I have a related question. Is it wrong to have gay friend...just a friend....P.S. I am a girl and is it ok to have a male gay friend? I mean I personally see nothing wrong with it, because obviously there is no hope of him hitting on you or any attraction so nothing to worry as u would in a normal boy/girl friendship thinga majig.....input plz
