A family of mom dad and 4 children is in serious need for help. More like they definetly need a shrink. Dad has been committing adultry and has 2 other legitimete children. He suffers from hallucinations and is also a schiezophrenic (however you spell that). He uses obscene language with his children (for instance, MC or PC some really graphic punjabi galiyan). He has verbally and mentally tortured his children over the years. Dad used to have secxual intercourse with housemaids infront of his children when they were little. Dad even used to take naked pictures of his younger son.
The mother has become mentally ill too over the years, she has high blood pressure, TB and god know what more.
The eldest daughter suffers from delusions as well. She has spilt personality disorder. She sometimes talks about chopped off heads dancing around in her bedroom. And other times would be acting perfectly normal. She says she saw the devil and he told her to go chop her dads head off, she tried so many times to kill her dad.
The 2nd eldest son was totally neglected so he does weird things to get attention.
The other son turned out to be gay (who is traumatized by dads naked photo shoot), well unconsciously he is but he doesn’t know he is gay, he spends about 5 to 8 hours everyday in the bathroom god knows doing what. He shaves his whole body twice (up and down) when he comes out of the bathroom its like his skin it literally chipping off, the hands are dried up and saggy as hell from the soap and water. He has some kind of OCD with water. He repeats his sentences a lot.
The only daughter that turned out to be normal is the youngest, she got married at an early age, found her way to escape. But she too suffers from intense depression at times which is causing her married life majore problems.
The youngest daughter is one of my very close friends. I just can’t stop thinking about how come their family got so messed up, what went wrong? I mean they all live in Lahore. Its upsets me to see the dad do all these wrong things, then come home and offer prayers. WTF! I don’t know how to help them, I even told the mother to seek some threapy, no use. If this family were living in States we would have had another Jeffery Doughmer and more.
Are they STILL with their father??? They should leave asap before they all do group suicide or the like. They ALL need HELP ! Seriously, these people are crying out loud for help and attention, they need counselling, therapy, everything under the moon...
Are you ok to talk with the elder brothers or no? Are they actually concious of the fact that there is something wrong with them?? i.e. the compulsive bathing disorder???
Gosh, is there any organisations in Pakistan who can help these kind of people?

it's stuff like this that makes you realise, that even if certain aspects of your own life suck, there are less fortunate people with bigger problems than yours, no matter how much you think your crap sucks..
Inshallah things will sort themselves out, and as for the dad, he'll deserve what's coming to him..
Definately, the Dad should be dealt with as soon as possible!! As you are telling us, he is in no position to still be with this family. Before, something really bad happens, this man should be put into some mental hospital for good.
First then, it is of any use of talking about what should be done with these traumatized children.
I would've killed the dad for sure...damn sicko...
The only way you can help my dear is if you somehow get the other kids out of that house...freeze al the bank accounts so dad can do anything and transfer all property n the moms name..then kick the a$$ out of the house.
Get the kids to socialise more...talk to them...I duno..just get that father away somehow!

As for the lady who wants to cut her dads head off...you sure need to get her away from that place..coz i bet you she's got th eknife picked out...but fears that she won't be abe to chop all the way through.

LM, if this were happening in the United States, there are enforced laws that would actually protect the childre from the father, foster parents etc, the Department of Social and Health Services would get involved. Unfortunately, this family is in Pakistan, where I'm sure there are laws to protect these children on the books, but are never truely enforced.
I don't quite know to what extent therapy is socially accepted in Pakistan, but this gentleman really needs to get with the program, if he is truely a paranoid schizophrenic, he needs to be medicated. Medication for schizophrenia has terrible side effects but they protect the patient from being a threat to him/herself as well as others.
As far as the rest of the family, they need to get into some sort of group AND individual counseling. They need to get away from the father. Here inlies the catch 22. If they get away from the father and leave him alone, chances are that the father will NOT stay in therapy, people like him need constant family support to keep up with therapy and medication.
This is a very sad and disturbing situation. Had the problem been addressed when it first started, the children would not have turned out the way they did. The mother wouldn't be the way she is. The father could have conceivably beaten his disease.
But such is life. Sorry to hear about your friend.

all u can do brother is pray for the family, and ask the family memners to bring Islam into their lives tell them to pray, they will Inshallah get better and peace will enter into their lives,
may Allah grnat these people happiness and peace and bring them onto the straight path and make them of the pious.
by the way, i know this is really stupid but is this REALLY true? its just that the whole family sound really really messed up!!
