Third scenario: Your best friend got into a fight and beat someone up. The police needs you to testify against your friend. What would you do?

Since theres always the vague possibility of my friend getting his drums beat, In that case I might not be eligible to testify.

But If he's able to pull it off, I'd go testify and be done with it.

In the end, the friend's happy in any case.

I might not testify against her as this could lead to serious consequences for her (even though I find her beating up somebody hilarious and impossible at the same time :D) But I would make sure to personally chide her at ALL times, make her repent seriously and maybe give her those long lectures on anger management. This is just for the first time.

But just in case if I do have a best friend who has this hitting and beating up streak ..i would then start avoiding her. Koi pata nahi kisi baat par meri he dhulai ker de :halo:

If the case is strong enough then whether or not I WANT to testify, I will be required to do so. There isn’t really a decision to be made here.
Should I fail/refuse to testify I will be in violation of the law myself so my friend will have to understand that.
If they have truly wronged someone then they have to pay the price for it.
Tough love.

I’d visit them in jail often and pick them up on the day they are released… :cb:
