She is my childhood friend, we even go to mosque together sometimes, her husband and my husband both get along well and they are good friends.. I want the best for her kids, I want them to be proud of them selves when they grow old but I guess I should keep quiet here. Islamically it isn’t right and that’s why I was asking her to involve them with something better. But oh well!

You fulfilled your obligation by talking to her. Now it is up to her to take it or leave it. So move on.
