there was a kushi (wedding, baby, engagement, etc) at your friends house, but you had never talked to your friend in a long time. And when u had a kushi at your house they never called you? And you hear through a third person about that kushi, how would you react? Its like your happy for them, but then again ur kinda pissed that they never talk to you or told you about their kushi…life is so complicated.

hmmm depends...if she had been a really good friend once than i would call, if it was like an ok friend then i wouldnt care adn it would also depend on why we dont talk anymore...if its juz cuz we got busy in our lives, thats different but if she actually did something and never appologized, now thats another story

^ well she doesn't live near by anymore. But she could call. And honestly how can u forget to call a friend who used to hang out with u when u were in school together.

we shouldnt do favours....expecting something back. in the same way....in ur situation you do what u wouldve liked to be done if it was you :) maybe that person will feel bad after you call them up etc...and they will do it next time :)
I think u should call and congratulate regardless of the past. move on ...no need to look back :)

^ i have tried that before....but it seems like she is too "busy" so I stopped calling...shouldn't their be a limit. And I never count how much I have been there for her...because that is not what friends do. And I know she has been there for me a lot too. But its been a while since I called her or she called me. Its been over a year since we were last in contact.
