I’ve played pranks on her too, I told her I was kidnapped by some bandits, and she cannot tell anyone or they will kill me, when in reality I was hiding up on the roof (in Pakistan), she went and ended up telling her dad, she was crying when I went down, damn did I have to explain myself… I told them it was a joke my uncles shouted at me, my wife refused to talk to me for like 2 hours. It was funny, as even my mom in England found out. I think I did go over the top with that one though.

Another time, in Pakistan, the toilets are outside, and she needed to go, she woke me up in the middle of the night it was freezing, while she was in the toilet, I turned the power off and told her the electricity has gone, and I said: "I am going to go get the touch" I didn't come back, she started calling for me, came out and started looking for me, I was hiding behind the door (pitch black) when she came into the room, I jumped on her and scared her, she started screaming like mad! my ears were going to pop! I she couldn't even speak afterwords, she was shaking and could not go to sleep! So yeah we play pranks on each other now and then.

I thought i had a warped sense of humour but i think this takes the biscuit.

u know its good to joke around and have fun like this its good to have fun in a relationship and i just hope that ur relationship stays like this always and forever

but jokes like this can prove very costly (in terms of heart attacks and stuff) so be careful when u joke around they should be funny not breath taking when joking around if no one else than always consider ur parents

Joking around in couples is all healthy and keeps the commitment interesting but there is an untold, invisible line that no one should cross. Wife telling a joke like this is sickening and that’s where the line should be drawn.

I mean seriously, how do you know for sure that she was joking and not checking how you would react on such a thing? How do you 100% positively know without any reasonable doubts that she was not preparing you for something?

Many of the users here most of the time just provide wrong advise and will attack me for posting this but it’s about you, sit back relax and think about what I said.

Well I trust my wife, it would be unreasonable for me to take that trust away for something I might think she is doing.

I fully know if my wife cheated on me it would be her loss she would lose a good and loyal husband.
