What would you call this?

Ok,
I dont know if I should be posting this here. Since I consider this forum my home and plus it has to do something with the Show Biz, I will post it here.

Recently I watched 10 minutes of ‘Gadar’ on some Indian channel and as a Pakistani it really offended me. On the other hand I have been listening to these songs for a while now and am in love with them. Recently it turns out that these songs are from ‘gadar’.

Now I am questioning my listening to these songs. I have found myself unintensionally humming these songs. that means my conciousness likes these songs.

So what do you guys think. Would I be a hypocrite to boycott the movie and listen to the songs or not?

I really dont have anything against India and Indian cinema. As a matter of fact I love Indian performing arts! But I just hate how they are using this media to create more hatred between the two nations by twisting truth and brain washing ordinary people!

What do you guys have to say to this?

I like your thinking Nurmah!

I'd boycott anything associated with such films.

Allah Hafiz

a good song is a good song. just because it's part of a film that stinks is not going to change that. Is Gadar the one with sunny deol in it? i saw 5 minutes of that and i fear for the state of India if that's what the public want to see.

yes extreme! The same one!

well Ali, whoever was responsible for that pathetic excuse for a film should be ashamed of themselves. Look where that thinking has got them.

My view is Indian films work best on themes of love, romance or sometimes based on real life-type characters like Sukhi Lala, the miserly landlord in Mother India.
