aright this is what** I** would do…

we only have three days so ima only mention three…(wuts the dif b/w mayon n mendhi..:konfused:)

mehndi: churi dar pajama sumthin simple sumthin nice…not overloaded with embroidery/kam sham wagra

Barat:…the day where u look the best…:D…gharara with kam sham on it…becareful not too doo too much dat u mite stand out more then ur sister..:cb:

Walima:…definately a sarii…sumthin nice n plain not too much tho

I would suggest a churidarh pajama for mehendi / maayun, a banarsi or a silk saree for wedding, and a nice embroided chiffon saree for valima.

hmm… let me try… churidarh in in the tone of mustard color made of silk probably with some kaam on dupatta and kamiz. Banarsi saree for wedding day could be in the tone of navy blue or maroon (if the bride is not wearing red or maroon tone). Chiffon saree for valima could be light / sky blue with light embroidery in pink or loight maroon color.

What other details can be there?

i don't like the idea of wearing sari on wedding, i think it looks more nice to a married women then unmarried
i was thinking of wearing churi daar on mayoon, fitted lengha on barat and sharara on walima
do u guys think its alright, i still cant make my mind up abt mehndi

^yea i didnt realize u werent married, saris usually suit married women better, what u've suggested sounds great! how about a shalwar kameez for mehndi- i dont know if patialas or gher wali shalwars are still in but that would probably look nice in a colorful mehndi combo-- like burnt orange, mehndi green, and deep maroon
you could also do a really light gharara that day since ur not wearing one on the other days, again in colors appropriate to mehndi

hmm I am very picky about clothes so I would do a different style on all 3 days ....maybe churidaar for the mehndhi, shalwar kameez for the shaadi and a saree for the valima.
you can also try and vary the styles for all three days and pick whatever styles you like ...for example churidaar , lehngha (come in many styles), saree, shalwar kameez

ok this is wt i wore on my sister’s weddings.

older sister wedding 2006

mehndi - red banarasi type suit with a goldenish shalwar all in jamawaar the material ds real in nowadays.

baraat - a maroon , peach , pink churidaar

valima - a pink shalwar kameez suit

middle sister wedding - 2005

mehndi - orange shalwar kameez suit . with gota on the sides n gala quite simple
baraat- a light blue shalwar kameez with silver kaam. this ws given by my mil with shoes n chooriyaan :blush:

valima - we all wore lenghas , i wore a purple fishtail lengha de kameez hs a little kaam bt lengha ws fully embroidered.
