I mean what ticks you off.
For me my wife is over-protective;
Don’t eat red meat, bad for uric acid.
Don’t eat punjabi food, bad for cholestrol and blood pressure.
Don’t drive fast when alone.
Don’t drink a lot, I mean what is a lot? I don’t drink daily anyway average 4 times a month.
Don’t smoke, bad for health. Totally agree on this and had to stop.
Iss rate pay I might have to stop everything I like to do.
When hes looking at the tv while i am trying to talk to him:naraz: He doesnt do it often though so mabye i should forgive him for the couple times that he did. I know he can make a list as long as yours if not longer

You are right at times love or protection may become suffocating, esp. if they are not based on facts or only eminating from personal preferences.
Same abt food: sounds like an ethnic comment. Pushtton food may be considered full of red meat. Majority of ppl say Karachiite (Urdu Speaking) food is full of spices and too much oil, causing high cholestrol and/or blood pressure and stomach ulcers.
LoL @ her reasoning for stopping you from drinking, or excessive drinking
He eats really sloppy...ugh I feel like putting a bib on him...but then again eating is his passion so I have to let him enjoy it! Also, red meat, white meat every meat...smoking, driving ettiquette (or lack of it). And the usual ogling at the TV - sports and news....the whole day. When his team looks like it is going to lose he switches off and sulks. Sometimes when I see his team have scored then I have to call him to resume watching...can you believe that!
