To all the guppies. Say if you ever fall in love with a girl who is like 5-6 years older than you, would u ever marry her? And if ur parents say no than what will u do? Well i knw this thread might sound like stupid but still i want to hear ppl replys here…
And also guppans, what would ur reaction be? if u ever fall in love with a boy who is younger than u… lets say 5-6 yrs…Would u marry him? even if ur parents are against it?
If a person is mature, then their age doesnt factor in as long as they arent super young. So yes, I'd consider a younger guy. My parents dont mind if the guy is younger than me so that wont be an issue.
For some odd reason, I get a lot of younger guys interested in me. Very odd but what can I do? I wouldnt mind as long as the guy was mature, responsible and had a good head on his shoulders.
He would have to be someone who is on the same wavelength otherwise it gets too difficult.
5-6 years might not be a big difference after a certain age. (maybe over 40?)
Personally, I think it is a big difference, if the guy is not mature and responsible.
However, I know someone - long distance - married couple. Girl is 5 yrs older than the guy. They have worked it out very well. They do not let their age determine who's to act mature, immature, responsible - or whatever. They have 3 beautiful kids.

Oops, I didn't know we had that we had both feminine and masculine versions of GupShupers, I thought we were all guppies!
Anyway, my fiance is a year younger than me. So, I am certainly open to age differences. Although I think, regardless of gender, large gaps in age could be an issue for any couple.
I think NJMasti has said it right. The 5-6 year age difference wouldn't matter much after, say, you are in mid twenties. But it is for you to find out if the bond between you two guys is strong enough to sustain the social pressure coming from your close relatives, :)
And from religious point of view, remember our prophet PBUH married Hazrat Khadeeja RTA who was at the time 15 years older than him.
