what i have experienced (not personally but others around me) is that communication before actual marriage is bound to create problems…once you are married..you know you are in it for the long haul…you know how important it is…so you stay careful and behave cautiously
whereas in engagement period, nobody is bound, yet people behave as if they are husband/wife…which leads to arguments n stuff due to misunderstandings n all…but here they are not bound…so they behave less carefully…and before you know it…things blow out of proportion
