Yes, that’s why I said “local gov’t services as well as fund the public school system”…I should have specified **local **school system.
In Texas, this is very sore subject because we have what’s called the “Robin Hood” system…they take tax revenue from the wealthy school districts to distribute to the low income/low performing schools.
