To the best of my knowledge the property tax funds. ONKY LOCAL public school system. Resulting in a disparity wrt poorer neighborhoods. I don’t thing the state or federal govt makes up the difference. And promoting charter schools adds salt to injury - for not ALL students from poor neighborhood get to move to charter schools in better neighborhoods. But the rethugs have won this battle with their propaganda machine.
And what is with ARMs in this low interest rate environment. I would think locking in fixed rate is no btlrainer.
