dua k liye shukriya par bohot mushkil kaam lagta hai maine engineering toh karli par mere ghar mein engineers bhi PhD hain main sirf bachelor's kar paayi hun ab tak...aur ab toh shaadi bhi hogayi hai so difficult lagta hai par namumkin nahin

  • Maternal Great Grandfather was a freedom fighter and he founded/ran a nationalist Muslim movement in British India.
  • Maternal Grandfather was an academic / author / journalist – he established a school in Delhi along with Abul Kalam Azad and it’s still running.
  • Don’t know much about Paternal Great Grandfather, but Paternal Grandfather was the Accountant General (AG) Punjab.

my dada migrated from india and started by selling fabrics on a stall....progressed to a nice store in ichhra lahore....may he rest in peace.

my nana was engineer and landlord. but he passed away when my mom was 9 months old.

great-grandfather and grandfather (paternal) ... were into metal handicrafts ... bronze/copper

great-grandfather and grandfather (maternal) ... something to do will steel .. a warehouse ... these things you put in the building structures to hold the ceilings etc ...

both professions have to do with detail and precision .. and i guess thats where i get my habits from as well ... i am an artist :D

grandfather on my dad's side : Food director of Punjab. ( was responsible for supplying wheat,sugar,rice to different parts of Punjab ).

grandfather on my mom's side: was responsible for allocating the hindu houses to Pakistani people after hindus left Pakistan to migrate to India.

Nana Abu was a doctor, ran his own hospital in Sheikhupura for 30 years, (Jinnah general Hospital, anyone from Sheikhupura would know) until last year when he was cruelly murdered in an attempted kidnap on his way back home. (May he rest in Peace)

Dada Abu was a tax officer, retired now though obviously

My grand parents from my dads side are land lords.
Mums side are as farmers who work on their own land.

If you want to use someone’s great grandfather’s profession as a rishta criteria :smack: sure why not. Knock yourself out.

I dont know about great grandfathers, will have to ask my parents. Wait, i think my maternal great grandfather was a tailor. Both my nana and dada were also tailors except nana had his own buisness and dada worked for someone.

Mother, grandmother, great grandmother - all housewives.
