Well they liked him cos he managed to help them out of a recession/depression. He organised a LOT of schemes (a lot like Roosevelt) to generate jobs and money, he encouraged youth schemes, they even promoted stuff for women. On top of that, he represented stability, there were a lot of governments being formed and then toppled, and on top of WW1 humiliating the Germans, they needed someone to look to.
What was wrong with him? He was a bit racist innit?

Hitler is believed to have charisma, which helped brainwash people. Usually people think of having charisma as being a positive qualitiy...but it can be negative as well. He also had a difficult/messed up childhood. I think I read that his father (or stepfather?) was abusive and that he lived in poverty. He also wanted to become an artist and was rejected by the art school he sought admission in. It's no justification for his crimes....but maybe it was the dangerous combo of deep-rooted insecurities and a psychological disorder/conflicts.

… so, in my personal opinion I think this severe tooth ache really annoyed him hence in frustration he became hiltler :hinna: … I mean this could be one of the reasons too

He told people what they wanted to hear and promised them things that they needed and gave their lives a sense of meaning by making people feel like they belonged. All however at the expense of others lives, especially those who were different.
Hitler had some sort of OCD (over compulsive disorder) and was strict about cleanliness and scared of becoming ill or diseases. His parents died when he was young so this may have something to do with it and he also made sure that people with serious illnesses or disabilities were gotten rid of and even killed as he wanted an ill free master race.

There are rumours going around that Hitler actually knew about the zionists plans for world domination from the start and esp their influence in Germany and there have been theories that the holocaust itself was started by the zionists and the number of deaths exaggerated and getting most of the worlds superpowers involved so that the zionists could eventually gain enough support and sympathy from others to help establish their own homeland in the middle east, which is now the state of israel. At the expense of the palestinians might I add.

^Hmm... not sure about that, but some today have tried to disgrace islam by saying many muslims worked alongside Hitler to ethnically cleanse the jews, however, this doesnt explain the murder of many muslims by the nazis though.

Thats true. Even jewish academics such as Professor Norman Finklestein say that the holocaust is used as a propaganda and sympathy tool and is a multi million dollar industry and helps keep people on the side of these zionists who use this sympathy card.
