Haha I wish!.. He usually watches lots of t.v. and makes me clean and get him stuff. But I must say he is sweet for cooking dinner for the last few days since I was very busy with a school project and also going to work. We barely talk anymore unless its to discuss the groceries and what to cook for dinner and when we'll be arriving home. sigh For our first Eid, we stayed home while I made chicken and then we decided to order out Chinese and one of his friends came over for dinner. I was dressed very casually since I was at home. Kia karey, he likes being home rather than taking me out! He and I don't own a car even though we both have our licenses. Its cuz we live in the city and driving here can be dangerous and hard since there is limited parking spaces and it costs a lot to park anywhere you go especially downtown. I can't wait till end of next year cuz I'll have my degree and convince him to move to the suburbs with me so we can have a modest house and car. That way we can also make more Muslim friends and go to the local mosque. We don't have a mosque near us. The one we like to go to is half an hour away and the buses don't go that way. Oh well..
awww first thing loads of hugs to u dear......
hang in there.....i guess thats a phase you've to go through in married life.....i u can take a break from school and work and rent a car and go out.....if thats not possible just take a day off borrow someone's car for a day and have some fun.....
there is this thing called compromise :S i hate why girls have to to do that
i already told my hubby i can change for good but dont expect like a typical pakistani to change ma self entirely.....i think you have to make things clear in the begining and tell ur hubbies how you want to spend life.....
my hubby is just generally a sweetheart :).
And in relation to all the visa talk here, im from the UK too, and it does take a while to gather all the papers, it took me a few months. I applied last year, but it was rejected cos i dindt have enough income. then we filed an appeal for this, but my stupid solicitor didnt file it in time, though we ddint find this out till 6 months later.
So we had to start the process all over again, i got a new job, gathered payslips and all papers needed and sent them to my hubby visa the courier service DHL, he submitted them at the embassy in the last week of august, and am so happy, he got his visa a few days ago :):). we've been married nearly 2 years now,we spent a month together after the shadi, and this time i last year, i had got my ticket to go and see him again, i stayed with him and his fam for 10 weeks.
I completely understand you guys talking about missing your husbands, its been a tough 2 years, up and down, full of lots of tears and am so thankful to Allah, that finally its coming to an end :).
One thing, i cant stand it when pleple make fake papers or give bribes and their cases are successful, it makes me sick.
Good luck to people applying for their hubbys' visas, inshallah you'll have some good news soon :).
