^is it even a jhoomar?? any clearer pics of this style?? wouldn’t it look lovely as a stand-alone statement piece on a mehendi bride!!
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
it is a beautiful piece......but I don't think that it is well-matched with the rest of the jewellery in this case.
Don't think its a jhoomar. I think its those wrist dangly things brides wear usually in India.
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
I think its a seiz-phool - I’m not sure I spelled that right. One of my relatives wore that on her nikkah as a jhoomer.
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
intresting…seiz-phool?? what is it exactly??
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
oh my......all of this girl's jewellery is a bit off in the coordination department.
but mA she is very, very pretty!!!
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
Not 100% sure hun but I think its originally a jewelry piece for your hair, Ive seen some women wear it on top of their hair when tied as a bun, thats what Ive seen in Pakistan. Ive seen that it has been designed as a jhoomer as well.
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
oooh ok!! thank you for the info:) I found another bride wearing the same seiz phool with a matha patti, sadly it doesn’t go well but I still think it would look very nice when worn alone, as the ONLY piece of jewellery on a mehendi bride.

Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
brides wear this on mehndi or mayoun…its a new trend in pakistan but i don’t understand why shes wearing it on barat.
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
I have seen this before. It is usually a family heirloom passed down to each bride in the family. It is like a jhumor and can be worn without a tikka. I don't think it is in style but it can look nice on brides.
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
In my family we wear this as a "sehra". When sitting next to the dulha, the "jhoomar" covers a bit of the dulhans face. Aaj kall to dulha dulhan see each other before shadi and all too, lekin naani told me ke during "her days", this jewellery piece was worn alot (as a sehra). During nikkah, they also had a flower sehra in addition to this.
I have kashmiri and pathan backround, though I don't think this piece is special for any of the backgrounds?!
Re: what variation of jhoomar is this?
it's called "kanpaTTii jhoomar" or "kanTopia jhoomar" in Hindi OR "goshmaali jhoomar" in Urdu.
