2days been ok! this week shud get sunnier howeva u cnt trust british weather, bring jumpers etc..obviously if u want to get ill n freeze bring lawn n chiffon lol
Re: what type of clothes being worn in london these days?
Floaty dresses and dainty sandals all the way…!!! i wear this and i live in london… but we londoners have built a resistance towards ‘the weather’ so we’re immune…bring some nice summary clothes but make sure you bring an umbrella… and boots, maybe wellingtons, and a jacket or a coat, maybe a hat and scarf…

Hitchki… are you in UK madame?? Then you’d know it’s constantly raining :hinna:… your best footwear gets ruined… for real… so instead of damaging my louboutins etc in the rain, i used to wear boots and wellies (proper sloane ranger styley :D)… BUT i found this new thing called Shuella (Shuella - your shoe umbrella)… it’s basically a cover for your nice shoes, so now i can still go out everyday in nice footwear, and when it rains i just stick them over my shoes… et viola! no damage to expensive footwear :yahoo:
shuella is worth-buying..indeed helpful...wud joggers work? i feel for cmfortable in them rather than boots...yeah i too think to have umbrella...i dont think that jumpers wud be a better idea to invest in just for 2 weeks...umbrella is okay but do i really need to bring chiffon and lawn? still not clear:( if its cold then how come its summery??
What kind of self-respecting LondaaanER buys expensive Wellies?! :=p
Although the rain is just a civilised bout of spring, i would agree insofar as to say, keep you lebuttons for leparty. As a girl about town (as SATC would have us be) pragmatism is the height of city-chic. Joggers are fine besides which a woman looks her urban-best wearing whatevershewants without giving vogue the damnest. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Although I would suggest cardigans over shoulderpadded jumpers.
Best of touristing 2k1!
edit: I have the single most droolworthy shoulder padded jumper. But it is pure wool and pure winter FAB. Just in case people thought I discriminated needlessly against the era that spawned MC-Hammer and his fabulous parachute-pants.

Our "Summer" started on Sunday as in British Summer time when the clocks go forward which means the days are lighter for longer. Doesn't mean it hot tho, only around 13 degrees C. It is sunny, but in the wind and also at night it can be cold. Check out the BBC Weather website if you want more info as it has a 5 day forecast.
Yep, trainers are fine and you probably wont need a jumper if you have a coat. Otherwise you can always pop into Primark while you are here and get a cheap jumper (around £5-10) to last you for your trip. I dont think lawn is appropriate for now. And always keep an umbrella on you. Have a fun trip!!
