My cousin had a baby a few months ago. My husband and I gave them a gift when the baby was born and a card that said something along the lines of “congratulations on the birth of your son, May Allah bless him, etc, etc”. Now she is having an aqeeqa, but because we live so far away we wont be able to go. But we are still sending a gift. Im just confused as to what to write in the card. What are you supposed to write in the card for an aqeeqa. The card is again one of those “Congratulations on the birth of your son” because we dont get cards especially for Aqeeqas here. Can anyone help me out?

I would write a similar msg as for when the baby is born…conveying congrats, your happiness for them, and a prayer for the baby
