Recently, someone gave me a couple of outfits as a pre-birthday present. The tops are quite nice and I have loads of things to pair them with. The pants, though, are wide-leg /palazzo pants and I’m not sure what types of tops pair them or what shoes would look good with them. Any suggestions?

Personally, I don't own a pair of palazzo pants. It's just not my dressing style. But if I ever decided to wear one, I'd wear a sleeveless slim fit shirt to go with it. As for the shoes, I suggest you wear small to medium length heels.

^ They're both in prints. One pair is dark navy blue with a thin white/cream pinstripe pattern. The other is in a black and cream tribal print. The print itself is rather smaller, so it isn't overwhelming. I quite like the preppy idea. I'm thinking a solid top with a fitted blazer perhaps?

A tucked in cardigan might do too depending on the fabrics. A fitted simple long sleeve top or a nice preppy tshirt tucked in. It's hard to tell but keep it simple and add on additions with accessories? Jewelry etc

Depends how you are dressing it up. If you are wearing it as desi wear..then I would suggest a slim long shirt with it. If you are wearing it as western wear then a fitted shirt/ tank tucked in looks good. You can wear it with a solid colour full sleeve top tucked in and wear a chunky necklace with it to make it look dressy. And pair with heels that are high enough but pants should cover most of the shoe as that will give your legs a long look.

palazzo pants are really chic and are quite "in" in pakistan these days.. i think they look really good with a tucked-in top and a cardigan! but of course the tucked-in look only looks good if you have a semi-flat tummy.. otherwise longer shirts (around knee length) look great with it too
