Re: what to wear on nikah in masjid?

a very pale coloured outfit with little kaam paired with some veyr fine pieces of jewellery, maybe something that belongs to your mother to make it more special? Keep makeup to a minimum too, it will give you more roop on your actual wedding day.

Make sure its a color you're not wearing any other day...a color you love but havent been able to incorporate in your events yet.

i'd wear a cream/ivory and gold shalwar kameez with light jewellery, possibly with pearl drops. i think u should keep it light and simple and same with ur makeup :)

i think it would be very simple and elegant, light makeup. but not a dull colour. you should keep your look fresh and still look special and different than others going with you.

Re: what to wear on nikah in masjid?

u cud wear a burqa/abaya to the masjid and wear a semi-formal shalwar kameez inside for when u come back home. the burqa does not necessarily have to cover ur face but it will suit the venue and the occassion, i personally find the thought of dressing up for a nikah at a mosque awkward since its a holy ritual and place and women in Islam are anyways meant to dress up in a way that wud avoid attracting attention.
