Is there any way of incorporating a long shirt (like the ones in fashion nowadays) with a gharara? Or should you just stick to the traditional, and have a regular normal length shirt?

people told me that i can have "as long shirt as i want" with a gharara, while i was placing my baraat's dress order at libas-e-khas.
while one with the lehnga should not be very long....
i too thought the other way round

Really? But then you wouldn't be able to see the gote at the knee, so what's the point of having a gharara? On the other hand long shirts look really nice! Uf, the confusion! :)

so i had a normal length shirt with the gharara, and a slightly longer length with the lehnga
