So I’m just curious as to what ppl think people getting remarried should wear to their wedding if it’s only one function.

Something simple and saada bc clearly she shouldn't be making a huge deal about it.
OK OK I kid. Ummmmm, I would assume whatever a bride would wear if she were having one function, simple or heavy.... the fact alone that it's a second marriage shouldn't dictate what she wears.... comfort + personal style + type of wedding play bigger factors.

Lady, I say wear what she likes! If she's getting remarried, then why compromise and worry about what others think?

in Lucknow, India women wear RED on their first wedding and white if it is their second time around.

Whatever the bride likes and whatever she can afford.
It's not about what people may say, I think people who've been through a broken marriage realise the difference between wedding day and marriage. So the bride to be should really just follow her own instincts and wishes and do whatever she feels is right.

If were to get married again, I am going all out more than the first time! If it's like a valima reception, I'd do a mint green bridal sari

Reminds me of maheen karim going for a gorgeous bunto outfit again the second time round. I also like juggan and Maria b's second marriage outfits. Age and body type appropriate.

i've noticed that brides getting married the second time tend to wear light colours.. perhaps because it makes them look youthful?
i don't think that many of them would want to wear something that would remind them of their first wedding.. so for most brides wearing a heavy red jora would not be very appealing
but bottom line is that they should wear what makes them happy, just like any other bride!
