I wore English maternity dresses for my first pregnancy,
last time i tried normal shalwar kameez (short kameeze was in fashion), but the kameez lifts up and made the big tummy obvious so ended up wearing maternity dresses which mostly are in dull colours.
But this time i want to wear lawn wale kaprey(especially the Gul Ahmed prints, i just love them) and also long kameeze is in fashion.
i want to know what type of cut for long kameez is suitable during pregnancy
A -line kameez
staright normal kameez or
churidaar
or anything else
thanks
frock style shirt with or without slits, anarkalis, n A-lines should work well. even poncho n kaftan style dresses look good.
i just found out bareeze hav a maternity line by the name mom2b. c if u like that.
i just wear smocks and loose dresses over jeans and leggings - to be honest i havent worn any shalwar kameez since being preggers but when summer time hits I may wear some lawn suits, would probably find those comfortable.
I wore anarkali dress for my cousin's mehendi when I was 5 months pregnant.. worked out really well because I was comfortable and it looked really good on me :).
I have a question here while we are on the topic. How would a kurta with kaliyan look? Talking about two kaliyan in front towards either side of the shirt?
