what to take from here?

hello all

i will be going to pakistan this summer to get married inshallah

now what do u suggest i take from here (uk)? i will be in pakistan for about 6months all in all!!!

im getting most of my outfits and matching sandles from there will tkae few from here too

im thinking from here:
make up
bags-normal day bags and clutches
toiletries

what else would i need totake???

your makeup, some toiletries, definitely your underwear/lingerie. medication. if ull be wearing western clothes there, some jeans, sweats, sneakers?
sweaters for hte cold weather (i've seen some fugly ones there).

I would also recommend taking water purifying tablets, mosquito repellant, good books to read/keep you busy and a small hand-held fan for when you’re out and about shopping.

make up wipes ( if you use them )

shampoo

face creams - you can get both from pakistan but not the exact thing at times and the cost will be higher than the normal creams in pakistna

you may wish to take sanitary towels - again you can get them from there

hair removing cream - not needed if you are going to wax

thats all i can think of , i mean you can get everything in pakistan but usually i take my stock of the above stuff with me .. it just makes life a bit easier.

oh and chocolates . lots and lots... put them in the freezer when you get there !!

yeah lingerie i forgot i will be taking that from here too...

i will be there till about november and have been advised i wont be needing any jumpers or anything as thats when it will start getting chilly- i might just take one light cardigan with me and thinking a few pairs of nice shoes just for rainy days!

yup i've already bought sanitery towels they were on offer in superdrug so being an asian i bought a whole stock of them :)

can u buy always from there though? i havent been in 8 years so please advise!

face wash, face creams that u r use to using, hair products such as spray, and towels, good sun block,

i went abt two years ago and the Always in lahore were SOOO thick. not the same ... take as many as u can from here :)
