Re: What to request..

For once in my life I request everyone to never bring me anything, I am a minimalist and I married a hoarder. My eldest and I fill the truck up when she is not watching and throw things out. The other day she threw 50 of my hundred knives out and that really hurt my feelings.

Re: What to request..

Haha!!! stuff for the kitchen is my only obsession. She also threw out my butcher block cutting board.

Re: What to request..

ooh, i like kitchen stuff too

I am thinking of asking for a watch, any recommendations?

Re: What to request..

If you can indulge in that, then stop calling her a hoarder :emmy: You are in the same boat :snooty:

Re: What to request..

Haha if you only knew how passionate a hoarder she is, we had boxes in the jacuzzi and walk in showers I have thrown truck full of stuff and we have so much that she didn’t even miss it all my belongings are in one tiny room I have learnt to accept it as this is who she is and in the end love matters more than this stuff. We moved 4 times s she kept complaining the home is not big enough, I put crap in storage. I hired people to organize and haul this crap. This hoarding is serious business.

Re: What to request..

Our athletes have the Garmin or some other kind of GPS watches. It should offer more than telling time as time is everywhere.

  1. Buying a Watch for Hiking – What is important?Features:
A hiking watch should have special features beyond those of a normal watch. The most important features every hiking watch should have are barometer, altimeter, thermometer and compass. A barometer will give you the data to predict the weather. Storms in the mountains can be very dangerous, so it’s good to have a reliable device able to detect rapid changes in pressure. Some hiking watches also have a storm alarm which notifies you about the weather changes. An altimeter will provide you with information about how high above the sea level you are. The compass is used for navigation and when used together with an altimeter it makes navigation significantly easier.
Most hiking watches today are also equipped with a GPS receiver which is currently the best solution for navigation and tracking moves.
