Lol i know its January but my dad is about to come from Pakistan soon (Inshallah) so i was thinking of asking him to bring some good book for me from there issi liyeh i asked now...and my holidays will start in May :D
Re: What to read over the holidays
I dont know if this book is available in Pakistan, but I really recommend Lessons in Becoming Myself written by Ellen Burstyn... its a really captivating book and very inspiring... it teaches you how to keep going when everything in your life is collapsing around you and how to build yourself back up from rock bottom. It is a beautifully written memoir with its unfinching honesty and candidness. I always liked her as an actress but after reading the memoir, have really come to admire her as Ellen Burstyn... the person off screen, the woman who overcame so many personal struggles and has become the woman that she is.
