We have discussed Terrorist attack and condemned it and have measured the govt’s reaction on the same. We have discussed IK’s wedding and have move forward. We have discussed govt projects, we have discussed dharnaas and its ending and what not.
Now what to post, nothing new is happening! things are happening but none of them can be called as hot-topic. If i am an news channel owner, i’d be worried… no more protests, no more breaking news… so what should i do and here what should i post???
Positive news on Pakistani Channel?? what that would be wonder of world, and any positive discussion in Pakistani Affairs… well it does not pass more than a argument or two…
and usually when that happens to me, i shut down myself from present and future…and go back to history…see old pics, read old books and watch old movies
here is my favorite link about my favorite city Lahore…so many historical Photos of Lahore - you can look into these pics over and over for countless hours…will not get bored looking into the past when lahore used to be far more simple and clean!
^^ For me, i am in transitional stage, I am moving back to Lahore and some days i am extremely busy with things and some day there is nothing, from last week or so i have nothing at hand, i normally read books, journals... but since most of my stuff is given away or sold by my wife ( saying it is garbage :) ), i have no more books, and in GCC it is real hard to find a good read.
Internet is only option and i've been reading few things here and there...and then this comes to my mind, that what would the thoughts of news channel management in these days.. they need tio sell their air time and they need to attract viewers, for that they need something HOT... what should they do,
1) tell anchors to call their contacts and find something silly or interesting about some known personality?
2) Tell anchors to pass on conspiracy theories?
3) Tell anchors to promote certain sect/politicians

There is some indian movie where the news channel creates news by them self and then break it. Maybe our channel will follow that
