^ yeah, IF you’re in a position to actually do makeup after giving birth. i wasn’t.

i would only pack a hair brush, clip/band and maybe a lipgloss or lipstick. but i didnt get to any of this stuff until couple hours after giving birth. actually my mom handed me stuff and told me comb my hair and put some lipstick on so i can feel a little fresh. she aslso got me a wet towel for my face.

In my hospital bag I had my wallet with all my info (drivers license, insurance card, debit card etc), a take-home outfit for my son, a comfortable outfit for myself (other than what I wore to the hospital), eyeliner, tinted lip balm. I also went to Target and bought myself a small pre-made bag of travel-size toiletries, (deodorant, toothbrush, lotion, small toothpaste, hair comb)…I added facial wash cloths (Olay ones that just required water to soap up), and hair ties. All of it was very useful lol

How many of you ladies were able to shower afterwards during your hospital stay? And how did you control your hair after the shower? My hair turns into a jungli monster after showering. Hair dryer? Don’t want to catch a cold with a wet head either.
My hair turns into a rat’s nest every time I have to be at the hospital.
